Craftsman Style Lamps
Clean lines, proportion and subtle complexity are the highlights of our signature lamps. These specific designs are our own but they were inspired by the classic look of Craftsman, Arts and Crafts and Mission styles. Our look is very often compared to Frank Lloyd Wright in his Prairie Home period (1900-1910). Though this style goes especially well in Craftsman Bungalows, Cabins and Lodge style homes, more and more often we are finding that our elegant and superbly constructed lamps fit easily with many styles of decors. Our clients are not afraid to experiment and have had great success in just “trying it”. No matter what the setting, these beautiful lamps will add elegance and warmth to your home and the quality assures they will last for generations to come. A perfect piece of functional art that will be a cherished heirloom. A hundred years from now, these lamps will still be lighting homes and warming hearts.

Pattern A
The Ocoee Lamp
Our first and original design. This lamp has a distinct central column that highlights the face and edge grains of the wood. Both straight lines and angles are combined to convey both strength and refinement. The shade was designed as four individual frames brought together at a pleasing angle with a reveal left at the edges for additional character. The shade supports where gracefully tapered to help balance the look and left long on the ends to add a subtle accent beyond the frames.
Pattern B
The Windermere Lamp
The second in our series features a bold center column that is all about the wood. The side panels are carefully chosen for grain pattern from a single board, then cut to highlight the beautiful figure in the wood. The column edges are shaped to leave a reveal instead of a simple miter, and bevels are cut at the bottom to add a shadow line that accents where the column and base meet. Our classic design mica shade frame and supports are used to compliment the overall look and balance of the piece.
Pattern C
The Clermont Lamp
An instant classic the day it was introduced, this third lamp in our series harkens back to a time when a lamp often had a small light below that could be left on at night. This pattern has quickly become our number one seller. Mica panels in the central column containing a separate light and a front mounted switch, the Clermont really sets the mood in a room. With balanced proportion, the elegantly fluted leg supports bring a lightness to the column but remains sturdy without covering too much of the mica or hiding the warm glow from within. Our Tall version of this lamp stands 26 inches tall is the Rock Star at every Art Show we attend.
Pattern D
The Oakland Lamp
The forth of our Pattern Lamps with several firsts. The first with a double column, the first with two lamp clusters, the first with four bulbs, and the first with a rotary dimmer. The new Oakland lamp has the classic look of the double column “Bankers” lamps, with functionality way beyond the desk. Rectangular shape works perfectly on a desk, but also on sofa tables and side tables in hallways and foyers. With it’s dimmability, these locations can be brightly lit for a desk, softly lighted on side tables for use as night lights or dimmed when on sofa tables for viewing screens. Perfectly sized for all these environments, the Oakland stands out in it’s versatility.
Pattern A
Floor Lamp
The Pattern A lamps are now available in floor lamp size. Scaled larger in every respect, special care was taken to keep the aesthetic and proportions correct. Floor lamps are built to specific height for functionality and this lamp was scaled to fit that standard. Normally floor lamps are positioned next to chair for the purpose of reading or placed in a corner to add an accent and to brighten the space. The result is a beautifully majestic lamp with a real presence, a piece that stands proudly in any room. The “Wow” factor on this one puts smiles on many faces and is the reason collectors are so enamored with it.
The example shown here is the Classic Pattern A Ocoee Lamp made of solid Cherry and fitted with Dark Amber mica. Within 24 hours of being completed, this particular lamp won Second Place Overall at the prestigious Windermere Florida Fine Arts Show. There was no wood working category. These classic floor lamps truly are pieces of functional art.
