This box is a Gurkha "Cellar Reserve", aged 15 years, Koi Perfecto #2.

Gurkha a hugely popular brand and this offering from them has very unique look. It features a "Crate" style box in a pleasing golden yellow color with good quality hinges. With it looking like an old style shipping crate, I naturally thought of old sailing ships and made the base from oak finished in an "English Brown Oak" color and the solid brass lamp fixtures were the perfect accent. The combination came out great, the color is rich and classy with the wonderful texture of the oak clearly visible. Elegant and rustic together taking on the look of an antique, definitely what a Gentleman "Pirate" must have. Would go perfectly on a man's dresser but is nice enough to go in any room, probably the only thing I have ever made that would work in a Nautical Themed room. Really nice, one of my favorites.

This solid oak lamp has our Mission style back and a slightly rustic textured wood. It was finished with a semi-gloss top coat that came out great. This one is awesome, the color for both the box and lamp are what sets it apart. Box has a removable upgraded felt lined bottom for easy cleaning.
